Autunno is aimed at celebrating nature’s bounty and colours. It is a season of abundance and gratitude.
The Autunno series reflect my responses to the immediate surroundings, colours and sense of adventure.
My inspiration is drawn from experiencing the moment, whether in plein air or in the studio; at the Royal National Park, strolling through Callan Park, soaking in the Illawarra flame trees or just remembering Kakadu National Park and Central Australia.
I am constantly exploring different mark making and mediums including inks, dry pigments, gouache, pastels, charcoal etc. I try different techniques and styles, pushing from realism into expressionism and abstraction.
I hope you enjoy the Autunno collection.
